Step 8 — Explore the conference

8of 9Explore/events/:editionUuid/explore

The fourth tab, and the catch-all: anything the organizer published that is not a session, a speaker, or your account.

What you see

on screen

THE 3RD AQUATIC RESOURCES & BLUE ECONOMY CONFERENCE (ARBEC III) Everything about the conference in one place.

Then up to four sections of rows. Each row has an icon, a title, a one-line description, and — where there is something to say — a status line with a square marker. The status is the useful part: it tells you whether the organizer has published anything, without opening the screen.

The Explore tab. Under the conference name and the line Everything about the conference in one place, the Plan your visit section lists Registration, Fees & payment, Venue & arrival, Conference pass and Help & FAQ, each with a status: Open, 12 rates · USD, Nairobi, Kenya, none, and Not published yet.
Explore. The status line on each row is the fast read — you can tell what exists before you tap.

The other three sections

Programme holds Research tracks, Conference streams and Side events. Partners & updates holds Partners & sponsors, Exhibition and Official updates. From the organizer lists any page the organizer has written in their own words, each stamped with the date they updated it. A section with nothing published says Not published yet rather than disappearing, so you can tell that apart from one that does not exist.

What you tap

Any row. Each opens a screen of its own.

Venue & arrival

The address, Open in Maps and Copy address, the conference Dates, and the Organizer contact. If the organizer has drawn a room schematic there is a Rooms by level map with per-room Capacity figures and a LIVE NOW marker on the room holding whatever is running. When nothing has been published the app says so rather than inventing a city:

empty state

The exact venue has not been published No address, room map, transport or accommodation guidance is available yet.

Research tracks

Each published track with its session count, and a way to save your interest so the app keeps it on your radar. For ARBEC III this is where Sustainable Fisheries & Aquatic Food Systems and the other published themes live.

Conference streams

Where live and recorded sessions appear. When the organizer has not enabled streaming, it says so directly:

empty state

Live streaming is off This conference edition is not offering live sessions in the app.

A running session gets Watch live and a countdown to the start; a finished one gets Watch recording.

Official updates

The Message Centre, with All, Announcements and From organisers filters and a Mark all read action. It is the same place the announcement band on Today links to.
